The board of MWD Western Drilling, LLC is made up of its primary shareholders, who bring decades of experience running small, medium, and global oilfield service companies and expertise in systems, service delivery, marketing, technology development, and finance to the strategic leadership of the Company. 
J Mclane
J McLane is a Managing Director at Lime Rock Partners, as an energy focused private equity firm focused on building differentiated E&P and oilfield service compoanies wordwide.  Based in Houston, he has worked for Lime Rock Partners since its inception in 1998.  Prior to joining Lime Rock, Mr. McLane was in the Corporate Development Group of Pioneer Natural Resources.  he is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (B.A., B.B.A.) and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (M.B.A.).  He serves on the boards of a number of Lime Rock Partners portfolio companies in the E&P and oilfield service sectors.  
 
Mr. Mclane is a U.S. citizen and resides in the United States. 
Gary Vaughn
Gary Vaugn, Co-Founder of VES survey International, is based in Corpus Christi, Texas.  Mr. Vaugn co-founded Vaughn Energy Services, the predecessor company to VES, in 1999, and oversees all U.S. operations, including service delivery, business development and training and recruitment.  He has over 40 years of experience in the survey market, starting with EAstman Whipstock as a survyor running gyro and magnetic survey instruments and then later as a district manager.  Mr. Vaugn has founded and led a number of companies in the directional drilling and surveying market, including Multishiot Inc. and Vaughn Guidance. 
 
Mr. Vaughn is a U.S. citizen and resides in the United States. 
Tyler Blackman
Tyler Blackman was appointed as a Director in October of 2015.
 
He is a member of the board of Energy Developments and Investments Corporation (EDIC), supervising EDIC's gas marketing activities.  
 
He has 15 years of experience in the energy industry and has worked in many cultures and countries in roles that span operations, finance, and marketing.  He began his career with Schlumberger, where he served as a field engineer in North Africa and offshore, in the Gulf of Mexico.  He has also worked at Shell and Cameron International.  Tyler has an AMP from Harvard Business School and a MBA from Columbia.
 
Mr. Blackman is a U.S. citizen and resides in the United States.
